The Eastern Education library Development Company (TLDC) has been established to fulfill the need of hundreds of educational institutions who want to provide international stranded knowledge cover to their brilliant students so that they become internationally competitive.

The library strives to develop significant collection of human knowledge, comprehensive collection of national literary heritage and deliver excellent Library services for promotion of knowledge-based society in Pakistan. We also support Libraries to build National bibliographic control and preserve the literary heritage of the country for the use of present as well as future generations.
Major tasks: TLDC’s business activities cover book production, reproduction of documents, the sale of microfilming equipment, library equipment and facilities, and the operation of book stores, a service network for readers and Cultural and office facilities. It also designs and makes book data center and advertising, undertakes office automation, integration of computer systems, sets standard internal design for libraries, and provides technological services for library protection.
Collections
There are over 9000 books in English and Urdu including local languages with digital and multimedia support along with Audio Cassettes and CDs. These reading materials pertain to all aspects of knowledge and have been selected keeping in view the interests of children and our cultural values. We also provide Libraries to subscribes to more than a dozen children magazines and newspapers published in the country

Schools and Libraries
Our special relationship with schools and libraries across Pakistan has evolved over time. We have worked with individuals as well as groups both in the stores and in workshops to highlight the best books for children of all reading levels. We are happy to make individual appointments with educators coming to the store, so that we can give you the attention you need to make the right choices. We also send out books “on loan” to your school so that you can make careful buying decisions.
We offer a courtesy discount of 10% to teachers who are using their own funds to purchase materials for use in their classrooms.
We also are set up to invoice books to schools, libraries and school districts at a 15% – 20% discount. Setting up an account is easy; if your institution is new to our system, we ask that you prepay on the first order (full discounts apply) only.
